Gel permeation chromatography (GPC) is a type of size exclusion chromatography (SEC) used to analyse molar mass composition of polymers.

We have recently upgraded our capability for polymer analysis with a state of the art GPC-IR from Polymer Char.

• GPC-IR gives the opportunity to analyze Molar Mass Composition and Concentration.
• Short Chain Branching (SCB) can be analysed over the molar mass distribution, with the highly sensitive IR5 detector, also possible at low concentrations. The IR-5 detector have absorbance channel for CH2 and CH3.
• The viscometer gives information about polymer intrinsic viscosity (IV) and Long Chain Branching factor (LCBf /1000TC).
